Backed Up and Somewhere to Go

I've been doing laundry and other things here at my apartment since arriving back on the red-eye this morning, and it seems that during all of this, the main drain to my apartment building backed up and began backing up into my apartment, filling my tub with water, draining the toilet, and bubbling up in the hallway. Of course, all of the backing up started while I was napping. What a homecoming!

It seems rather symbolic. I rather wanted to stay in San Francisco and was willing to stay for the duration of time. However, I had to come back to Indianapolis to clear things away and clear out before my eventual move to the Bay Area. Just as with the main drain, I must flush my system, rid myself of the clogs and debris in my life, and start running clean water throughout.

This is the Universe telling me that I am on target with my plan and that what I am about to embark upon in my own life is a necessity. Otherwise, I'll be backed up in Indiana with nowhere to go.
