I must say that after attending the protest against the gay marriage ban amendment initiative yesterday, that I have much pride in the GBLT community here. It is outstanding that around a 1,000 individuals gathered on the west side of the Indiana State House in the cold, in the wind, and in the snow! I am so proud of every single one of you, gay, straight, or otherwise.

I'm an energized, open-minded individual that loves a good discussion. There is no requirement to have resolution to that discussion, as I believe all things evolve and change with time. I look on today as an opportunity; I look at obstacles as hurdles. On a more corporeal level, I am a gay man and HIV-positive. HIV has really opened the door to the realm of possibilities life has to offer. It's amazing that it took getting something that tries to kill me to understand how to live. I'm healthier physically, emotionally, and spiritually today than in probably most of my adult life.
